A few days before the first jambol at World Cup, FIBA published the list ranking the 30 best players who will take part in the tournament. The only Greek in 30th place is Kostas Papanikolaou of Olympiakos, while at 28 is the Juancho Hernangomet of Spain and Panathinaikos.
