Ruben Pardo Gutierrez was born in the city of Logrono, Spain on October 22, 1992.
As a teenager he joined Real Sociedad’s academy in whose shirt he made a total of 194 appearances, 7 goals and 34 assists.
He first showed good examples with Real Sociedad’s second team in the Tercera Division. Pardo then joined the first team in January 2012.
A “full” eight years in the league, Spanish Cup and European competitions followed for the 30-year-old Spanish international midfielder in the shirt of Real Sociedad, with a small parenthesis his six-month loan to Real Betis in the 2016-’17 season (16 appearances, 1 goal ).
Ruben Pardo in January 2020 went out of Spain for the first time to play for the French side Bordeaux.
He stayed there for just six months (9 appearances, 1 goal), as in the summer of the same year he was loaned to Leganes, returning to his country.
His loan at Leganes developed positively and the Spanish team decided to buy him in the summer of 2021.
Pardo played a total of 107 times for Leganes, scoring 6 goals and 15 assists in LaLiga, LaLiga2 and the Copa del Rey.
He is international with the U17, U18, U19 and U21 representative groups of Spain.
This summer he left as a free agent from Leganes and as of today Ruben Pardo officially belongs to the ARIS family!

Before I came I spoke with Laurent Moron, with whom we were teammates at Betis, and he told me the best about the team, the world and Thessaloniki. I have also spoken to other compatriots who compete in ARIS and with whom we were rivals in Spain and they all spoke to me in the best words.
I will give 100% to help ARIS achieve its goals. The experience I have, due to being in LaLiga for so many years, will help me adapt quickly to my new environment and help my new team».
