The debut of the 23-year-old striker in Premier League accompanied with the incredible number of 52 goals that led the City in the treble and the first Champions League in its history. Candidates on the same list were Harry Kane as well as the Kevin de Bruyne and John Stones.

For women, her athlete Aston Villa, Rachel Daly was declared as the top athlete with 22 goals while the corresponding “rookie” award went to Lauren James her Chelsea.

This year’s awards PFA were awarded at the Lowry Theater on the institution’s 50th anniversary and honored the top pitching acts on the Island.
