“Qualifying matches of the 2024 European Championship, the African Cup of Nations, the EURO 2025 K21 and PAOK is “saying goodbye” to many of its international players during this time.

Konstantinos Koulierakis is on the list of the Greek national team this time for the away game against the Netherlands on September 7th and for the home game against Gibraltar on September 10th.

Stable and irreplaceable Andrija Živković is called up to the Serbian national team for the matches against Hungary (07.09) and Lithuania (10.09). In the calls of the Polish National Team, Tomas Kenziora is also in the squad for the two qualifying games of the EURO with the Faroe Islands (07.09) and Albania (10.09).

As for PAOK’s new transfer acquisition, Kirill Despodov, he is immediately integrated with the Bulgarian national team for the friendly against Iran (07.09) and the game against Montenegro (10.09) for the EURO qualifiers.

Three PAOK players, moreover, have international commitments in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. William Troost-Ekong has been called up to Nigeria’s national team for the game against Sao Tome and Principe on 10.09, Rahman Baba returns to Ghana’s national team for the match against Central African Republic on 7 September and Ali Samata in Tanzania’s national team against Algeria also on 07.09.

Also, four PAOK footballers are called up by the coach of the Elpidos national team, Nikos Papadopoulos, ahead of the match against Andorra (12.09) for the 6th matchday of the 2025 European Championship qualifiers. They are Panagiotis Panagiotou, Dimitris Tsopouroglou and Argyris Darela.

For two official games (Armenia – Albania 08.09 and Albania – Romania 12.09) of the qualifying phase of EURO 2025 with the K21 of Albania, Ermis Selimai also departs.

Vassilis Gordeziani has been called up to the Georgian U21 National Team for the games Georgia – Gibraltar (06.09) and Moldova – Georgia (12.09) of the qualifying phase of EURO 2025.

Also, the National Youth U19 team will be in Karditsa (04-11.09) for friendly matches with the Bulgarian National U19 team and the national coach invited six players from the PAOK Academy. They are Stefanos Tzima, Dimitris Kottas, Konstantinos Goumas, Nikos Deligiannis and Konstantinos Kastidis.

As for Maximilian Schnautzner, he will be absent with the Polish National U18 for a preparatory tournament in Croatia from September 3 to 12.

As for our “youngest”, eight children are invited to the National Children’s National Team for the friendly matches with Austria on September 7th and 10th. They are Giorgos Kosidis, Dimitris Bataoula, Stathis Beleri, Vassilis Eleftheriadis, Thanasis Papanikopoulos, Antonis Tsitsila, Anestis Mythou, Bedri Dunga.
