Nikologiannis: “Setien’s dismissal from Villarreal is bad news for Panathinaikos”

by

The latest news from the Panathinaikos camp was conveyed through him News Bulletin 247 Tasos Nikologiannis.

Initially, the experienced reporter referred to Benjamin Verbich and the reason why he was “cut” from the European list: “It was something perfectly reasonable. He would have had the option of playing with three stoppers in six European matches, but factored in that Bernard also plays on the wing. It has nothing to do with anything else. He was a key player in the last few matches. He had the discomfort in Ioannina and that’s why he didn’t start. It was very difficult for Jovanovic to make the list but he made a sensible decision. He will stay to train in Slovenia”.

“We will see several changes in Panathinaikos’ games this year in the league. There are many games and the depth that exists in the roster gives the right to rotation”. Among other things, Tasos Nikologiannis also referred to the Panathinaikos internationals and the way in which Ivan Jovanovic will try to manage the absences in Koropi, while he closed by making a reference to Quique Setien’s dismissal from Villarreal, stressing that:

“It is bad news for Panathinaikos. Villarreal had not started the season well and looked to be an all-you-can-eat team. Now with the change of coach she will have time to reorganize and change her psychology.”
