PAE Atromitos announces the signing of Diego Valencia on a one-year loan from Salernitana.
Diego Valencia (14/1/2000) is an international with the Chilean national team and can play in all attacking positions with equal ease. He took his first football steps at the Academies of La Serena and from there he switched to Católica.
With Universidad Católica he made his professional debut at the age of 18 and from the 2018/19 season he became an integral member of their team having a total of 132 appearances, 31 goals and 13 assists until the summer of 2022. With his presence, he contributed the most to winning four consecutive championships in Chile (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021), but three Super Cups (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21).
In 2022, thanks to his appearances, he managed the big step for Europe, as he was acquired by Salernitana, making a total of 13 appearances in Serie A.
With the conclusion of the agreement, Diego Valencia made his first statements on atromitosfc.gr.
