EPO announced its support for flood and fire-affected PES.
These are financial support – through the income from the game of the Greek National Team against Gibraltar – as well as the provision of water bottles and clothing.
In detail, the EPO announcement:
The Executive Committee of the Hellenic Football Federation, during its meeting today, decided to support the Associations of Football Clubs of Thessaly (EPS of Thessaly, Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa), as well as the Associations of the fire-affected regions of Thrace (EPS of Evros and Thrace).
Specifically, the following were decided:
1. An amount of 98,000 euros, which is the net income of the match between the National Team and Gibraltar, to be allocated to the two EPS of the fire-affected areas and the four EPS of the flood-affected areas. The allocation of money will depend on the needs of each region. The amounts will be allocated for both sports and social purposes.
2. For the immediate relief of the flood-affected areas, EPO, through sponsors, but also by itself, will make available to each of the four PES two trucks full of 1.5 liter water bottles.
3. EPO sponsors will also provide clothing and footwear to meet the needs in each of the aforementioned areas.
