In the minds of the coaches:

THE Panathinaikos lined up with two new faces in relation to Agrinio. Form it 4-2-3-1, Brignoli in goal and Kochira, Senkefeld, Magnuson and Mladenovic four at the back. Ruben and Cerin were the central midfielders, while Palacios and Mancini fought on the “wings” and Bernard behind Ioannidis, who was at the top of the attack.

THE Villarreal on the other hand “came down” with nine changes from the 11 that he had with Almeria, system 4-4-2 and Reina under the goalposts. The match:

Pacetta made a triple corrective move with an hour of play, bringing on Sorloth and Parejo and Gerard Moreno. He was, after all, the scorer of the goal that paved the way for victory, while at the same time he was a constant source of danger for the opposing defense during the time he played.
