Heavy defeat for the Women’s National Team from Serbia

The second defeat in the first equal number of matches of the Women’s Nations League was suffered this evening by our national team, leaving the Serbian headquarters empty-handed with the heavy 4-0.

The scoring for the Serbs was opened by Miliana Ivanovic in the 16th minute, taking advantage of Poliak’s assist. The second unpleasant news for the Greek team came eight minutes later, with Androniki Michalopoulou getting injured and being replaced by Irini Nefrou.

Jovana Damjanovic doubled the Serbian goals, while his players Alexandrou Katikaridis they went into the locker room with a three-goal deficit, as a result of Ivanovic’s second goal in the 44th minute.

The country’s representative group entered the second half well, however, the Serbs maintained the momentum they had gained from the first half, and with Damjanovic also scoring for the second time, they made it 4-0 in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, the Greek coach passed Palamas and Georgantzis to the positions of Sidiras and Kaldaridou respectively. The game ended without further excitement, and the “blue and white” after their second defeat in as many games remained in the last place of the group.

Somehow, the “blue and white” remained at the bottom of the scoreboard without a point with a goal ratio of 1-7.
