Eleftheria Moschatos advanced to the Eurocup Women’s groups after their new victory over Cluj University, this time with 65-60. In the first game, the Greek team beat Romania 62-47.
Katerina Hatzidaki’s players were better throughout the match looking to finish what they started last week.
After the first quarter, Eleftheria Moschatu took control of the match and with Zek and Kaiser started to build a difference, reaching +11 (28-17, 12’30”).
The Greek team continued at the same pace and a three-pointer by Bickle made it 45-33 (23’15”), with Cluj reducing it to 56-49 shortly before the end of the third period.
Nothing changed afterwards, Katerina Hatzidaki, in fact, gave time to all her athletes to participate with Eleftheria reaching victory with 65-60.
Eleftheria Moschato will compete in Group A and will have Flammes Carolo Basket (France), Cadi La Seu (Spain), Zabiny Brno (Czech Republic) as opponents.
