From that point on, the home team was in control, going into the locker room with +3 (42-39).
With excellent percentages outside of 6.75m. Kolossos started the second half, increasing the difference to +12 (56-44) at 23′. Peristeri bwin reacted and went on a 6-0 run (56-50), but the hosts kept the reins of the match and thus closed the third period at +7 (66-59).
With Mitrou-Long and Rangland, Peristeri bwin came close to the point (69-68), at the beginning of the fourth period. The answer of the Rodites came from Poli and Godika for +5 (75-70), with Ragland and Williams reacting with a shot from outside 6.75m, for the lead (77-78), in the 38th minute. Ragland then sent Spanoulis’ team to +2 (78-80), with Jorgensen tying the score with 2/2 shots (80-80) with 19.2 minutes to go. Rungland missed a 3-pointer on the final drive, sending the game into overtime.
The two teams were tied in the extra five minutes, with Brajkovic giving the Colossus the lead (86-84), with Renfro tying the game with a buzzer beater (86-86) with 4.8 minutes to go. Jorgensen’s three-pointer missed the target in the end, and thus a second overtime occurred.
With Perantes and Brajkovic as the main protagonists in the second extra five minutes, Kolossos took the “cushion” of +5 (95-90) and reached victory with the final 104-93.
