by

Him Colin Kazim-Richards you may remember him from his brief passing by Olympic in 2012. Since then, the international forward with Turkey has worn quite a few different jerseys, the latest of which is that of Fatih Karagyumruk last year.

There, she played under his guidance Andrea Pirlowho stayed for one season at the Turkish club before returning to Italy to take charge of Sampdoria.

And while neither of them made the difference, Kazim-Richards kept the fact that the Italian coach allowed his compatriot footballers to… smoke, even at halftime of the games!

“Many Italians have been playing in Turkey for years, but I was surprised when I saw their lifestyle. Last year in Karagümruk, many of them smoked. In whatever team they had played in the past, the coaches didn’t allow it, though Pirlo was leaving them.

First I saw them smoking before training or matches, it didn’t bother him at all, he allowed it. But I was shocked to see them do it even at halftime. I expected there to be some discipline, but I realized that there was no order, so everything soon fell apart.”the words of the now 37-year-old striker.

It is noted that at the moment there are five Italians on Fatih’s roster, Birassi, Sturaro, Lasagna, Ceccherini and Pavoletti.
