Sasha Vezenkov, who played as a starter in the Kings’ game against the Lakers at the Honda Center in California, made his second appearance in the NBA preseason this morning.
The former Olympiakos ace got more playing time than Mike Brown due to Keegan Murray’s minor thumb injury, showing of course that he needs some time to get more involved in Sacramento, to prove his true abilities.
In particular, the Bulgarian forward played for 22 minutes, scoring 7 points, collecting 3 rebounds and handing out 1 assist, but his percentages were not so good, as he had 3/11 shots from the field (2/7 two-pointers, 1/4 three-pointers).

Vezenkov started the game along with De’Aaron Fox, Kevin Erter, Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis, finishing with 7 points, 3/11 shooting from the field (2/7 2-pointers, 1/4 3-pointers), 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 22 minutes on the floor for Sacramento, who fell to 0/2 in the preseason.
The one who stood out for the “kings” was De’Aaron Fox (18 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds), with Domantas Sabonis having his first double-double of the season (10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists) and double figures Harrison Barnes also scored (15 points – 3/6 three-pointers).
The Lakers lined up without LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves, with D’Angelo Russell (21 points, 8 assists and 3 rebounds) as their star, followed by Gabe Vincent (18 points with 4/8 threes).
