Exclusion for Thetis

Thetis will not continue its presence in this year’s Challenge Cup women’s volleyball. The Voula team lost 0-3 sets to Nilufer in Bursa in the second match between them for the “64” of the third-tier European interclub event and, combined with the 2-3 set defeat on Wednesday, they were left out of the “32 ».

Giorgos Rousis’ team found themselves losing in the first set 12-7, but managed to tie it 12-12 and lead 19-18 and 21-19. There, however, Nilufer’s serve brought the turning point, with the Turkales going on a 5-0 run for 24-21 and 25-22.
