THE Argentina prevailed 1-0 of Paraguay as part of the 3rd matchday of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, for the Latin American zone.
The “albiceleste” in a fairly tough game scored only in the 3rd minute with Otamendi, however the experienced stopper’s goal was not the highlight of the match.
In the 53rd minute of the game, Scaloni threw him onto the pitch Lionel Messi with the “pulga” getting into a little… altercation with the Paraguayan forward, Antonio Sanabria.
After some “French” that the two exchanged, Messi decided to put an end to this argument by turning his back on the Torino striker.
However the 27-year-old striker, in a disgusting move reminiscent of… Totti, spat at the Argentine superstar.
After the end of the match, as was normal, Messi was asked about Sanabria’s rude reaction saying:
“The truth is, I didn’t see it. I was told in the dressing room that one of them had spat on me. The truth is, I don’t even know who he was. I did not see it. They only told me. I don’t want to pay attention either because they will comment on it everywhere and it will be worse. It will become known, so you better leave it there”.
