President of the Italian Football Federation: “Gambling is a social scourge”

THE Gabriele Gravinapresident of the Italian Football Federation, took a stand on illegal betting.

“The betting scandal could not have been foreseen. I believe that we responded to this situation with great sensitivity, coherence and with respect for the institutions, the players and the jersey of the Azzurri”he initially reported.

With each passing hour, more is coming to light about the case of illegal betting in Italy.

His name Nikola Zalevsky was the latest to emerge, with the Roma midfielder becoming the fourth player to date to allegedly bet on football matches. The other three are Sandro Tonali, Nicolo Zaniolo and Nicolo Fazzoli.

Zalevsky, therefore, according to “Republica” bet on May 22 in the match of Rome with the Salernitana in order to get yellow card the same.
