Awesome Barcelona, did 3/3 and passed like a siphon from Belgrade!
The “blaugrana” won 92-83 against Partizan in the packed Stark Arena for the 3rd matchday of the Euroleague, thus continuing with the absolute victory in the competition (3-0). On the other hand, the Serbians stayed at 1-2 and failed to give a follow-up after the “double” in France against Villeurbanne.
Roger Grimau’s team controlled the balance of the game from start to finish, shooting 13/32 from 6.75 (41%) and had a big day from Nicolas Laprovitola who finished the game with 20 points, while his worthy supporters were Hernangomet and Da Silva with 15 and 13 points respectively. On the opposite bank, Nunnally was the star with 14 points and three rebounds, Dozier fought with 13 and five assists, while Pander and LeDay were positive with 11 and 12 respectively.
The finale of the Devil’s Week sees Barcelona host Bayern Munich (20/10, 21:30), while Partizan come to SEF to face Olympiakos (20/10, 21:15).
The match
THE Partisan started with LeDay, Dozier, Pander, Nunnally and Koprivica in the starting five, with Barcelona to choose Da Silva, Lambrovitola, Vesely, Kalinic and Satoranski.

The hosts were then unsuccessful in their attempts to reduce the score, with the “Blaugrana” ending the first period with a lead of seven points (16-23).
In the second quarter, the offensive options of both teams improved and the game went point-to-point until the halfway point, while Partizan managed to take the lead (30-29) with a basket and a foul by Smilagic.
