They… broke it in Kalamata and took the top spot in Chania!

Great double of Chania in Kalamata! The Cretans were efficient and found two goals in their few moments to escape from Messinia with the victory (0-2) and force the Black storm in their first loss this year.

Sort of like that Chania they reached 9 points, the same as the Kalamata and are together at the top of the standings, while it follows with 7 n Ilioupoli who beat Diagoras 1-0, while Ionikos, Athens Kallithea FC are also on seven points.

In his matches, Kalamata was better, in control and trying to find the lanes against Chania who played tight and were constantly looking for the counter-attack to threaten. Despite their good moments, the hosts did not find a goal until half-time and 0-0 was the result after 45 minutes.

Chania managed to surprise Kalamata after winning a penalty, which Manalis converted into a goal in the 50th minute for 1-0. The hosts tried to go up and look for an equaliser, without succeeding. And finally Chania in the 87th minute… ended the match with Manos writing the final score (0-2).

In the match held at the same time, Ilioupoli beat Diagoras 1-0. The home side were in control throughout and missed a penalty at the end of the first half with Sifakis blocking Ramos’ shot. To finally come in the 90th minute for Stamatoulas to give the home team the three points.
