Olympiacos made a trip to Rhodes!

The match

The Colossus of Rhodes starts with Brajkovic, Poli, Utomi, Simmons and Kolovero, while Olympiacos starts with Fal, Peters, Papanikolaou, Kanan and Walkup. Serious and concentrated, the “red and white” came in and with Papanikolaou and Peters aggressively, they went to +9 (5-14), in the first five minutes. The home team still faced many difficulties in the attack, with the Piraeus on the other hand completely controlling the match and with a buzzer beater three-pointer by Williams-Goss, they finished the first period at +14 (12-26).

Olympiacos maintained the same good pace in the second quarter as well, where with the reference point of the defense and protagonists in the attack Miloutinov, Larentzakis and Brazdeikis escaped to +22 (18-40), in the 15th minute. The Colossus then found points from Simmons and Kolovero, but Piraeus held the reins, continuing to shoot very well from the perimeter, pulling even at +23 (26-49) and Brajkovic making it 28-49 of the first half.

Olympiacos was dominant and at the beginning of the second half, with Williams-Goss and Kanan’s three-pointers and Milutinov having a “party” with the racket, the difference went to +35 (32-67), at 26′. Kolossos had delivered… spirit with the “red and whites” remaining stormy and serious, closing the third period at +39 (38-77).

With Fal ahead in scoring and creation, Olympiacos continued its… party in the fourth period, with the difference jumping to +47 (39-86), at 33′. In the following minutes, Bartzokas had a five with Tanoulis, Peters, Larentzakis, Papas and Lountzis, with the match becoming free and the Piraeus team winning with the final 102-59.
