THE Stefanos Tsitsipas faces on Thursday afternoon (26/10) Tomas Machacs for the “16” phase of the Vienna tournament in Austria.
Speaking to Barbara Seth and “ServusTV”, the Greek tennis player spoke with a lot sweet words about his relationship with the Spanish tennis player, Paola Bandosa, characteristically stating that one belongs to the other and that if they were not tennis players they could still have the same love for each other.
In detail, what Stefanos Tsitsipas said:
“Paola said to me ‘you better do well because it will be super nice, you better stay until Friday in Vienna so I can come visit you. I honestly think that even if we weren’t tennis players we could have found the same passion and the same love for each other.
It just happened to come through tennis, which is a beautiful story because my journey started with tennis and so did hers. My parents even met because of tennis too. It’s such an easy love, relationship and I feel like we belong together. I don’t want to sound cliche or salty, but that’s how it is. We have excellent communication.
It is difficult to find a person who will understand the life of a tennis player and join it. In Paola’s case I feel that there is nothing that is misunderstood or not on the same path.”
