Goal again by the incredible Pavlidis, he continues his pursuit of Johan Cruyff’s mythical record!

He did it again Vangelis Pavlidis! On a bad night for his side, as Alkmaar lost at home to Nijmegen, when in the 91st minute he saw Bas Dost to collapse on the pitch and the game being stopped, the Greek striker scored once again on the season, reducing to 1-2 and is now clearly chasing the record of the great Johan Cruyff!

First of all, the Greek striker reached the 14 goals and is located alone first at the top of the Eredevisie scorers list. He left in second place the other “pistol” of the Dutch championship, the Santiago Jimenez of Feyenoord.

The matter, however, is different. Pavlidis scored in 10th game in a rowhaving found nets, that is, in all the league matches from the beginning of the season! Three other players have achieved what Pavlidis did tonight (29/10): Pierre van Hoydonk, Dennis Bergkamp and Brian Ruiz.

The record, however, is held by the legendary Johan Cruyffwho had scored in the first 14 games of the season 1966-67. Let’s see if the Greek striker can break this incredible record…
