We approached the game differently today compared to the other two, mainly in the tactical part. I can say that we changed a lot in attack. In the previous two games we played against Olympiakos, Mitoglou was out. He is very important to us.
Offensively we can use him in two positions, at “4” and at “5”. Especially when he plays at “5” he can find a lot of open shots, and that’s how it happened today. On the other hand, we were able to put Hernangomet in “3”, we closed the spaces well defensively. Offensively we weren’t that good, we made a lot of mistakes. It was a strange night for Olympiakos, he had 4/16 shots. We managed to win. We are trying to improve.
We used a lot of formations with Hernangomet and Mitoglou alternating. Olympiacos is one of the best teams in Europe, we changed some things regularly. And it appeared that this change worked. I think we really reacted correctly mentally.
