Premiere tomorrow at the 32nd Athens International Sailing Week!

Everything is ready for the start of a historic match, the former Eurolib. Tomorrow Friday, therefore, begins the 32nd “Athens International Sailing Week 2023” organized by the Sailing Federation in collaboration with 6 nautical groups, specifically the N.O. Residents of Vouliagmeni, N.O. Kalamakiou, N.A.O. Voulas, N.A.O. Kecrops, N.O.E. and NE Tzitzifion Kallithea.

The management of the EOI, the leaders of the groups, the coaches, the administrative staff and the volunteers have taken care of everything, so that the event is crowned with absolute success on sea and land.

This is a demanding race across the board, but the Sailing Federation and the clubs have the necessary experience to respond accordingly. The great international match will be divided into two phases. From tomorrow until Sunday, the international categories will be held and from Monday to Friday, November 10, the Olympic categories, for which at the same time it is also the Panhellenic championship. The same applies to the disabled.

The participation is huge. Only in the first three days of the race will 591 athletes from 13 countries run!!! In total they will receive

place more than 700 boats.

The countries that declared participation are India, Japan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Cyprus, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey, Israel, Romania, North Macedonia and of course Greece.

Tomorrow’s premiere is scheduled for 12 noon. N.O. Residents of Vouliagmeni will organize Optimist, N.A.O. Kecrops Techno 293 and Techno 293 Plus, N.O. Kalamaki the ILCA 4, ILCA 6 men, the N.O.T.K. the 420 and the N.O.E. the Lightning and the Dragon.

On Monday, November 6, the sailing races for the Olympic categories will begin. The N.O.T.K. will organize the 470 mixed, N.O. Kalamaki the women’s ILCA 6 and ILCA 7, the N.A.O. Voulas iQFOiL and N.O.E. the disabled classes Hansa 303 Single, Hansa 303 Double and 2.4mr.
