“Today I would not like to talk about the game. I want to say that I gave 15 years of my life to Ukrainian football. And that’s why I decided to end my career. The match against Shakhtar was my last in the stands, I greeted my players, I also greeted the Shakhtar players. I hope that a part of me will remain in Ukraine“, characteristically stated Mircea Lucescu.
It is worth noting that the Romanian coach has won 34 trophies and is the third most successful manager in terms of number of titles won, after Sir Alex Ferguson (49) and Pep Guardiola (35).
