Seibert and White gave the guests an offensive “breath” for the 59-41 halftime.

The scene was similar in second half, as the home team continued to bring out great mood and appetite on the floor of the Ano Liosia indoor court. For its part, the only thing Nikos Papanikolopoulos’ team could do was drop to 12 points for the 65-53 in the 26th minute. Somewhere in there, Randle and Kuzminskas led AEK on a competitive outburst, with Plathas totaling 22 points in the final quarter of the period (!), blowing the lead at +26 and 87-61 of the quarter!

With the game already decided, the fourth and last quarter in Liosia it acquired a procedural character. At the beginning of the period, AEK touched down for the first time the +26 (89-63), before the relaxation came to the home players due to the extent of the score as well. The guests took advantage of this fact, gradually reducing the difference, with the final horn of the secretariat finding AEK the winner with the final score 103-88.
