Udinese made a save and obliged Milan to a mega kazoo in the “San Siro”

by

Big deal for Milan! The “rosoneri” had possession and supremacy, but were chatty and were forced into a 1-0 home defeat by Udinese. In fact, the team from Friuli celebrated their first three points in Serie A, remaining unbeaten for the fifth game in a row after… they had four consecutive draws.

Lots of missed chances in the finale of the match for the home side, with Silvestri putting in an incredible performance to keep the win for the visitors.

In his matches, Milan were better but Udinese’s full defensive approach prevented them from creating clear phases. The best moments came through static phases for the “rosoneri”, who could not find space and the 0-0 remained fatal until half-time, with the visitors looking for the counter constantly.

The second half was a similar picture, with Milan paying for their complacency and Udinese winning a penalty which Roberto Pereira converted in the 62nd minute. The visitors had the upper hand and were trying to manage their lead, putting… coaches in front of Silvestri’s goal. They even managed to keep the great three points until the finale, having as an ally their goalkeeper with great interventions at the end but also luck, since the goalposts were “whistling” but their goal was not violated!
