Four former agents are on the bench EPO.
The Council of Misdemeanors of Athens, with resolution No. 2232, ruled that they should be brought to trial for criminal infidelity, as stated in the “Open Trial”.
This is the former president of the Federation, Giorgos Girtzikisthe former treasurer, Christos Karavasilisthe former executive secretary, Pausania Papanikolaoubut also the head of accounting, Yannis Theofiloswho are going to sit on the bench of the Three-Member Criminal Appeal Court of Athens, as can be seen from the specific report.
This is a case, which was opened in July 2017 by the deputy prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Virginia Sakellaropoulou, while it was investigated by two regular investigators. Panagiotis Giokas and Anna Garatziotis.
The will includes elements related to the embezzlement of money in the EPO. At the same time, the case file was consolidated with the “Travel Plan” case, for which EPO appears to be paying one billion debts amounting to 3,822,762.12 euros!
The Council of Criminal Courts of Athens accepted the proposal of the prosecutor, Giorgos Lainis, to bring charges against the 4 agents of the EPO and at the same time definitively and irrevocably acquitted another 19 people who were investigated.
