Doukas for Botanikos: “I want to inaugurate in my own term a jewel stadium”

The wish for him to inaugurate the new stadium of Panathinaikos in Botanikos was expressed by Harry Doukas. The new mayor of Athens, in an interview he gave to ERTNEWS, pointed out how important he thinks it is for the capital the construction of the clover field but also in general the double regeneration, pointing out that first it will be completed the works in Botanikos and then the project will pass to its second phase which is the works on Alexandras Avenue.

I want in any case during my term to be able to inaugurate a “jewel” stadium with a very low carbon footprint and a park that will be a lung of life. I think it will be a project that will radically change Athens.

At the moment 250 million are committed: 140 from the Recovery Fund, 110 from the PDE. This means there is funding available to go ahead with the dual redevelopment.”concluded.
