The Argentine coach has not lost faith in the Mexican midfieldersupports him and believes that it is only a matter of time before he unfolds his virtues on the playing field.

The 29-year-old ace has difficulty in adapting it for two reasons. On the one hand, he came to this age for the first time in his career in Europe, having spent all the previous years in Mexico and the USA. On the other hand, the pace and intensity in Europe doesn’t compare to that in MLS, where Pizarro has played for the last three years, so he has trouble keeping up.

Almeida understands that the transition for his player to a completely new environment and a different style of football is not a simple matter, especially when a footballer is asked to enter his own philosophy that requires a lot of intensity and constant running. However, he does not doubt Pissarro for a moment and believes that soon, with the necessary work being done in terms of physical condition, he will be able to give more to AEK. There is no doubt about his quality, since he is a 37-time international player with Mexico, who has a very good career in his homeland and Inter Miami.
