The battle of Crete between Juhta and Chania was tied, the derby was won by Athens Kallithea and Ionikos “cries out” for arbitration, while the Kalamata experienced the home defeat by Diagoras!

Northern group

Levadeiakos experienced the first defeat of the season, who saw Renaissance in Karditsa shock him and win 2-0. The home team managed to surprise the Boeotians and just in the 5th minute they opened the scoring with a header by Konilios, with the visitors going up afterwards but not managing to find the equalizer even though they had the chances. They even conceded a second goal in the 56th minute with Pirinen inadvertently scoring in his team’s goal, with Anagennisi perfectly managing the 2-0 advantage until the end to get a precious three points. At the same time, Levadeiakos had a points loss for the second game in a row.

Great victory for Heracles, who beat Kampaniakos 3-1 away from home and got his second hat-trick in the league, a few days after Sakis Tsiolis left the bench. However, the home team managed to find the lead in the 16th minute with Tairis, but Giraos replied five minutes later with Ebo. In fact, in the second half they were clearly superior and with goals from Silva and Kousta, they managed to seal the upset to get a big three points.

Aeolikos got its second victory in the championship, also, who prevailed 1-0 against Apollon Pontos away from home and left the home team in penultimate place. The only goal of the match was scored by Srnic in the 56th minute, giving the visitors the victory.

Southern Group

Athens Kallithea won the derby of the matchday! The team of Alekos Vosniadis managed to get past Neapolis, winning 1-0 against Ionikos and climbed to 2nd place by passing Kalamata, while they were at -2 from Chania who had a loss. At the same time, Nikaiotes remained at 11 and -8 from the top, having strong complaints from the referee.

The first part was excellent, with a very good pace and phases on both sides, with the visitors managing to convert one of them into a goal. It was the 38th minute when the cross was made from the right, the defense of the home team was inactive and Tsintonis scored with a header from close range for 1-0. A score that remained until the break, with the home team having strong complaints from the referee Koukoulas, who refused a penalty for a pull on Economides at the end of the half and while he was about to place opposite Kotsaris. Ionikos equalized in the 55th minute, but De Vincenti’s shot was blocked by the left post. With the home side pressing further but unable to find an equaliser.

Super League 2: Ref. Karditsas-Levadiakos 2-0, Ionian-Athens Kallithea 0-1

Chania did not manage to emerge victorious from the battle of Crete, after they drew 0-0 at the home of Juhta. Nevertheless, they have already managed to build a satisfactory gap and remain at the top of the standings, being at +2 from the second Athens Kallithea.

Diagoras … shocked Kalamata in its headquarters, with the Rhodians leaving Messinia with the three points in their luggage (1-2). The home team couldn’t find a way to the net in the first half and as time went on they started to get nervous resulting in the visitors finding two goals in the space of three minutes! First, in the 59th minute with Manias opening the scoring, while two minutes later Lesai made it 2-0. Tatos with a terrible free kick in the 79th minute reduced the score, but the same player was sent off in the final and Kalamata was unable to complete the comeback.

Second consecutive positive result for Panachaiki, after the 1-1 draw against Ionikos last match, they drew (2-2) in Lefkada against Tilykratis. Kokkoris twice gave the hosts the lead (27′, 78′), but the visitors found the answers with as many goals from Patrinos (61′, 85′) to take an important point.
