Olympiacos “clears” the qualification to the “8” of the Champions League in Papastrateio.
The “red and whites” will welcome Dynamo Tbilisi today (Wednesday 22/11 – 19:00, broadcast by ERT Sports), chasing a victory that will send them directly to the next phase of the institution.
Hervo Kolianin’s team is second in the standings after the first four matches with eight points, behind only Pro Reko who are unbeaten with 12 points.
Dinamo, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the standings, without having received a point so far.
The motivation that Olympiacos has in this particular game was pointed out in his statements on the team’s official page by the coach, HervKolyanin.
“We have a great desire for another victory, with which we will confirm our passage to the second round. The team is in a good rhythm and we want to continue like this. This is a Champions League game and it’s always something special. As I said, we want three points and the continuation of our good performances. We don’t expect an easy match, but I believe we have what it takes to win. After a long time, we are playing at home and that is an extra motivation».
On his part, Mr Marko Bijac he said: “It is a very important match for us, because with a win, we will seal our qualification to the next phase of the Champions League. We want to present good polo, win in our pool, in front of our people and certainly, the whole team wants to qualify. That’s the most important thing, that’s the most important goal in this first part of the season».
