Freudfeld’s message to referees: “Avoid contact with teams and their representatives”

by

It is still in Sweden but he made sure to introduce himself to the Greek referees from there with a message. THE Peter Freudfeld, the new chief referee addressing the referees and assistants of the Super League, asked them that they have no contacts, individually, with the teams of the league or their representativespointing out to them that KED will handle these issues.

Read in detail the message that Freudfeld sent to the Greek referees as published by the website, dikisports.blogspot.gr

“Dear referees and assistant referees in Super League 1,

I have already had the pleasure of getting to know all the referees through our team meetings. However, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to the assistant referees.

My name is Peter Frojdfeldt and I am the new president of KED from Sweden, I was a FIFA referee until 2008 and then coached Sweden’s top referees for over 10 years.

I look forward to meeting you in person soon.

I would like to inform you all that if you receive any complaints or negative comments from clubs or their representatives, either before or after the matches, please let us know immediately at KED.

We will handle the communication with the clubs on your behalf. It is important that you as an individual referee avoid direct contact in such communication with the clubs or their representatives. This is for your own safety and for us to be united as a single team of referees.

In the coming weeks I will present you the new KED

Please feel free to contact me if any questions arise”
