Important reinforcement with Truchchev for PAOK

Born in France on 29/04/1995, Axel Truchchev plays as a winger and is 196cm tall.

He made his first steps in volleyball in the 2014-15 season from his hometown of Lyon, playing there also in the 2015-16 season, in which he recorded his first appearances in the European competitions, CEV Cup and Challenge Cup.

In the 2016-17 season he played for the French side Arago Des Sette, with whom he also competed in the top European club competition, the CEV Champions League, and where he stayed for three competitive seasons (2017-18 and 2018-19).

Axel Truchchev continued to remain a resident of France, being signed by a number of clubs including Ajaccio (2019-20), Paris (2020-21), Le Plessis (2020-21), Cambrai (2021-22) and Potevin (2021-22 ).

Last season he competed in Bulgaria, playing with Neftokhimik Burgas. In the neighboring country, he had an excellent and absolute season, which was also accompanied by winning the championship. In terms of individual honors, Alex Truchchev was named the MVP of the championship and the finals, while he also won the title of MVP from the world.

This season he started in Verona, Italy, however the next stop of his career is Thessaloniki, and PAOK.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Axel Truchchev stated on the Association’s official website, acpaok.gr:

I can’t wait to see PAOK’s friends, singing and shouting in Palataki, supporting us. It is important to feel their support. Personally, I have never experienced such an atmosphere as it is created in Palataki, and I can’t wait to see it up close, starting to play with the team.
