Match-parody and fun for Olympiakos in Volos!

He had it… after all, the match in Panthessal except a winner. In a match, which was divided into three… halves due to episodes just before the end, the light board showed 2-2. The hosts took the lead twice, through the white bullet, with Moraitis not to succeed with the first at 20′, as Paschalakis saved his penalty (which led to the expulsion of Retsus), but got the revenge as the phase progressed. In the 44th El Kaabi equalised with a penalty won by Biancone. Both were given through VAR.

In the 45’+12′ Volos was left with ten players, with Myga facing a second yellow, having pushed Fortounis into a counterattack. THE Garcia sent the ball into the net at 51′ with a penalty, which Moraitis won from Ibora. The “red and white” equalized in the 54th minute own goal by Kalogeropoulos after Rodney’s cross.

The match

THE Olympic entered the match having the initiative of the moves, with Volos waiting, but the hosts were the first to create the conditions for something good. Retsos, however, countered Garcia’s attempt in the 4th minute and Paschalakis blocked.

Piraeus had Rodinei very active from the start, with the Brazilian crossing for Masoura in the 6th minute, but the international ace delayed to perform, it was closed and the shot he made finally found bodies. He could well open the scoring at this stage. Almost from the same spot was Rodney’s shot in the 12′, but with less good conditions.

At 16′, the phase that resulted in 1-0 took place. Garcia went behind the Olympiakos defense, Retsos knocked him down and Papapetrou showed white arrow through onfield review. Moraitis took over the execution, Paschalakis saved, but the Volos player took the rebound and sent the ball into the net in the 20th minute.

In the next minute, Piraeus had another great opportunity. Masouras stepped into the area and Sielis kicked his return in front of El Kaabi.

In the 60th minute, Olympiacos celebrated, but he didn’t make it 3-2. Fortounis made a smart free kick and found Masoura who came face to face with Kostic and executed him, but it was ruled offside after an onfield review by El Kaabi.
