The announcement of Kifissia:

PAE Kifissia announces the start of cooperation with David Nielsen, who takes over the technical leadership of our team.

David Nielsen was born on December 1, 1976 in Skagen, Denmark and as a footballer he had a great career in Denmark, Germany, England and Norway.

After completing his sports career, he began that of a coach, with the first stop at Lev Ham, Norway, where he worked as an assistant for six months. From 2011 to 2013 he worked as both assistant and head coach at Nest-Sotra, while in 2014 he moved to Strömsgondget. He worked there for one and a half seasons, first as an assistant and then as head coach.

In 2015 he made the decision to return to Denmark to take charge of Lyngby, which he guided for just over a year, winning the B-Division title and promotion to the Danish Superliga.

The great work he produced in Lyngby was the passport to the move to Aarhus, where he was hired on October 30, 2017.

He stayed at the historic Danish club for five years, leading them to great runs in the Danish Superliga. In particular, in 2019/20 he celebrated with Aarhus the 3rd place in the Championship and the participation in the Europa League qualifiers of the following season, while in 2020/21 he reached 4th place and ensured the presence in the Europa Conference League qualifiers of the next season.

We welcome him to the Kifisia family and wish him health, luck and many successes».
