Ten Years of Sveshchat’s Milestone Hits: Part 2 of the Documentary

The 2nd part of the tribute to the historical honors of the Greek table tennis in the 2013 European Championship, in Schwechat, Austria, was published by E.F.O.E.P.A. on her youtube channel.

This also refers to the great success of the national men’s team by winning the silver medal. The 1st part referred to the process up to securing the podium, the 2nd includes the semi-final with Belarus, the final with Germany and of course the unique moments of joy that followed.

Honoring the magnificent course in the European championship, which took place from 4 to 13/10/2013, WEB TV of the Greek federation gives the opportunity to the youngest children to learn, to the older ones to reminisce about those special moments and all together to listen to stories, incidents and feel the emotion.

In the documentary series “E.F.O.E.P.A. presents”, the videos are entitled “Ten years of successes – Sveshchat’s milestone” and will be followed by another part about the bronze medal of Panagiotis Gionis in the men’s singles and methorthia in Athens.

In the second video, Panagiotis Gionis, Kallinikos Kreanga, Kostas Papageorgiou, Tasos Riniotis (athletes of the European runner-up), Kostas Vatsaklis (team coach), Vladimir Samsonov (the legendary athlete of Belarus), Dimitri Ovcharov (the great ace of Germany) speak , Manolis Kolymbadis (former president of EFOEPA), Andreas Georgiou (president of the Pan-Cyprus Sports Federation), Giorgos Papageorgiou (then member of the management of EFOEPA and father of the current president), Filareti Exarchou (athlete of of the women’s national team in that event), Sotiris Zikos (extraordinary coach of the women at the time, all present at Sveshchat) and Stella Nikoloudaki (current director of the administrative services of the federation and liaison between the offices at the time with the national team).
