Nikos Hatzis on sport-fm.gr: “The championship is more exciting this year – AEK is playing very nice basketball”

The celebration of basketball, the 26th Greek All Star Gamestarted on Saturday (16/12) at Carditsawith the main event being the veteran match between the team of Yiannis Bourousis and that of Francis Albertis.

In the context of this game, there was also a three-point competition, with him triumphant Nikos Hadzi. The veteran guard showed that the art of the long shot is not forgotten, scoring 22 points.

sport-fm.gr visited “Yiannis Bourousis” and spoke with the 47-year-old former player AEK and his Olympiakouamong other things, both for the All Star Game as well as for the championship in general but also for the course of the “yellow and black” this season.

On his participation in another All Star: “It’s a very nice celebration every year. It is very important for the players, but also for the public. Especially if it is done in provinces. It’s the best basketball has to offer, the best players are coming. And for us veterans, let the children know some players who grew up with us some other generations”.

On still having a “level” hand in winning the three-point contest: “It’s unforgettable! I feel good, I maintain well, everything plays its role, it’s nothing by chance.”

For this year’s Stoiximan Basket League and its competition: “I think that every year there is something new compared to previous years. Something better happens every year. So I think this year’s championship will be even more exciting.”

About AEK and the work of Joan Platha: “The team is very nice. Platha has his own method, his own Spanish basketball. I believe that it is something new for Greek data. If he can pass all this nice philosophy that he has as a worthy coach that he has been all these years, I believe that AEK will do even better. The team responds to this plan and at times plays very nice basketball.”
