Giannis triple double, Lillard 40 and the Bucks beat the Spurs

Damian Lillard made a season-high with 40 points, while at the same time surpassing 20,000 points in his career, the Giannis Antetokounmpo had a triple-double and the Bucks prevailed 132-119 of Spurs, who competed without Victor Webanyama who is injured.

The Greek superstar had a career-high 16 assists14 rebounds and scored 11 points, reaching his 37th career triple-double and second this season. The previous one was in Milwaukee’s 132-121 win over the Hawks on Dec. 2.

Lillard has now reached 20,034 points and became the 51st player in history and eighth in action to reach that milestone, in his 794th game and became the 17th player to achieve this feat. The other active players are LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, DeMar DeRozan and Chris Paul.

The Bucks are now 5-0 and have won their last 14 games at the Fiserv Forumchasing a 20-game hitting streak in Milwaukee from April 19, 1990 to January 8, 1991.

Bobby Portis added 23 points and 10 reboundsKhris Middleton scored 17 points and Brook Lopez had 14 points and 6 blocks for the Stags.

Keldon Johnson had 28 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, while Zach Collins had 22 points and Devin Fazel finished with 17 as San Antonio lost its 20th of its last 21 games.
