Panerythraikos was strengthened with Crnics

Panerythraikos acquired Jovan Crnic. The 28-year-old Serbian guard/forward (1.96m), who will replace Nemanja Manoilovic, has experience in Greece having played at Agrinio, Milos and APAS.

The announcement:

“Welcome, Jovan!

The management of Pan-Erythraikos AS announces the start of its cooperation with the athlete Jovan Crnic, who is coming to strengthen our team for the rest of the current season.

The Serbian forward (3, 1.96), who in the last 2.5 years has distinguished himself in our country, competing in Elite League and National League 1, will be our new community player, having already made his debut in the match of the 14th matchday Elite League with Korivos.

From a very early age, Jovan found himself in the USA, where he completed his studies and his first important steps in basketball, spending two years at the famous University of North Carolina and another two at Abilene Christian. The beginning of his professional career found him in Dinamo Tbilisi, to continue in Zilina, Slobodan Uzice, Andrzej Buteon and Slobodan Tuzla until the summer of 2021.

At that time, he was in our country for the first time, wearing the shirt of Agrinio in the then A2 and, a year later, he contributed to the promotion of Milos to the Elite League. This season started for our new athlete in Naxos, where he distinguished himself again with APAS Ta Fanaria, scoring an average of 14.8 points per game, leading him to a very good run so far in National League 1 and the Greek Cup.

In his first statements as a player of Pan-Erythraikos, Jovan Crnic said: “I feel very honored to be a member of such a great organization as Pan-Erythraikos. I’m very happy to be integrated into this team and I’m looking forward to helping in any way I can, whether it’s defending or scoring or just being a good teammate. The question for the team is to win the games, which is also a priority for me.”

We welcome Yovan to our big family and wish him health and many successes in the Pan-Erythraikos shirt.”
