“What did this arrested boy do? He took his roommate’s password and started making small thefts of money from the account of famous people with a high purchasing power. And these people didn’t notice. He made a R$ 10 thousand , then another R$10,000, then R$20,000, then R$50,000… And then it totaled R$200,000”, Lopes continued.
The delegate also said that most likely the account from which the money was withdrawn is normally handled by Neymar’s father. “When they found out, they looked for the bank. The bank reimbursed the victim and went to see who did it”, he concluded.
