The British businessman has been involved in discussions to buy a majority stake in United over the last year but has been limited to part of the shares, with approval from the Premier League expected to be given within 6-8 weeks.
English Media reports that Ratcliffe will be in control of the football department, with Eric Ten Haag to be presented as… safe, in terms of his position on the edge of the bench, while Paul Mitchell is a target for athletic director.
It is recalled that in the previous months, there was strong interest in buying the club from Qatar, however the Glazers were unable to reach an agreement with Sheikh Yassim bin Hamad al-Thani.
