About his inability to adapt to the life and culture of Qatar, where he was before moving to our country on behalf of Olympiacos, spoke James Rodriguez!

The Colombian midfielder, who has been playing for Brazilian side Sao Paulo since last July, gave as an example how difficult it was to adapt to Catarrhthe fact that he was not allowed to bathe naked after the games ended, while he mentioned that it seemed very strange to him that everyone was eating with their hands, without using cutlery.

“Life and culture in Qatar is very different, it is a country in which you can hardly adapt. Everyone knows that in football, you’re naked when you shower after the games, but my teammates told me I can’t do that. That was something that scared me.”.

“Everyone there eats with their hands, which was difficult for me. They wanted to share a meal with me and I said “no thanks”. I would ask for cutlery and they would say “No, with your hand”. I replied ‘you are crazy, I will not eat with my hand'”he said characteristically, while he then talked about his experience in Germanywhen he fought for her Bayern Munichsaying:

“It’s cold there and the Germans are cold people too. There were days when I would go to work at 9 in the morning in the bitter cold and wonder, ‘What am I doing here?'”.
