Harbinger of the final “goodbye” to Panathinaikos AKTOR by Kyle Guy was the post he made early in the morning of the first day of 2024.
The American guard tweeted “Thanks” together with a green heart and a shamrock, which is seen as a harbinger of his departure from the team. Everything shows that he will continue his career in Tenerife.
Thank u ????

The 26-year-old ace had signed a two-year contract in the summer, however with the additions made in the region and especially that of Kendrick Nunn he fell far down the hierarchy and was eventually driven to the exit, not by borrowing but by releasing. His last participation was on December 5 and the defeat by Anatolou Efes, where he played for 1:56.
Guy played in eight Euroleague games and total 14 with “clover”. In European games he averaged 4 points (71.4% on 2-pointers, 31.6% on 3-pointers, 80% on shots), 0.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1 foul in 10:38. His best appearance was in Panathinaikos AKTOR’s victory over Olympiakos in SEF for the Stoiximan Basket League (30/10), where he scored 11 points (with 3/6 three-pointers), 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 24:20.
