The ten owners of the Formula 1 teams have named the best drivers of 2023 and reserved one big surprise.
Not pleasant for the supporters of the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes. Because they placed him in fifth place of the relevant list, despite finishing third in last year’s championship, behind the Red Bull duo of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
Lewis Hamilton was voted as only the fifth-best driver of the 2023 #F1 season – below Lando Norris – despite finishing the year as the top non-Red Bull racer ?? https://t.co/9bchnO2h9L pic.twitter.com/sZMFlBRaPZ

The 19 victories in 22 races of the year and the winning of the third consecutive Formula 1 title by the Dutch pilot, naturally placed him at the top of the choices of the “bosses”. Second was Fernando Alonso, taking credit for his eight podium finishes with Aston Martin at the age of 41.
Third is Landon Norris who, despite the bad start, contributed to McLaren’s racing “rebirth” and fourth, above Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, although he did not convert any of the five pole positions he won into a victory!
