“Dear fans, I would like to put an end to the speculation and say that last summer I was honored by the invitation from Rennes to be an important part of this ambitious project that needed a player with my characteristics and experience.
I can simply confirm that our club has become an excellent club, especially for young people.
Unfortunately, through no fault of my own, I couldn’t combine my personal life with my professional life. I was not able to enroll my children in an international school, which they attended from the beginning of their schooling.
That’s why I left for the last 3 days, to solve this big problem for me and my family.
Tomorrow I return to Rennes where we will discuss with the club to decide on the next steps.”
