Agravanis: “To play well, I have to get along with the team – Let’s bring a title to AEK”

by

Something more than satisfied for his move to AEK was introduced Dimitris Agravanis.

After announcement of the collaboration with “Enos”, the Greek forward did not hesitate to put high up.

So he explained that as a player you have to “made” with the team struggling to perform at their best and declared himself determined to help the team win a title.

What Agravanis said in detail

About his arrival at AEK: “Obviously I know I’m coming to a great club, which is also celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Anyway, wherever I play, I want to give 100%. I liked the approach of the people of AEK. They convinced me that there is always a goal for something big. And that gave me the impetus to say “yes”. Of course, AEK is a team with a lot of people. What’s more beautiful than playing in a full stadium?”

For his recovery: “Okay, that’s over too. You know, the nature of my injury was shocking. He was quite unusual. As I said before, the way in which AEK approached me towards the end of my recovery and the official proposal – a few days ago – made it much easier for me to come. Of course, the presence in the team of a coach, who achieved a lot in his career, also played a role, plus the fact that I came to AEK, in a team that, this year as well as throughout its history, has aspirations and always claims something big” .

For his individual goal: “Like Agravanis, I will be satisfied if me and my teammates bring a title and make the team’s fans happy. If we succeed, it means that I have done well as an individual. Of course I’m interested in playing very good basketball, but if the team fails, nobody will be satisfied. If we reach high, it means that we all did well.”

For his impulsiveness: “In order for me to play well, I have to “get ready”. I have to like the team I play for and I have to “hate” whatever opponent I have that night in front of me. That’s how I am as a player. That’s how I make 100%. That’s what I do at every club I’ve played for in my career.”
