Shocking Eleftheriadou: “The efforts of years are finally rewarded – If you don’t dream, you don’t live”

The bronze medal at the European Championships in Eindhoven, which is equivalent to qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris, was celebrated on Saturday night by the National Women’s Polo.

Alexia Kammenou’s team prevailed 7-6 over Italy in the short final of the competition, with the excellent goal of Nicole Eleftheriadou. The 25-year-old Olympiakos player, with a shocking post on Instagram, referred to the specific success of the national team, looking back on the past and the efforts she made over the years, stressing that a big dream has come true.

In detail what Nicole Eleftheriadou wrote on Instagram:

“All those mornings when you drove while it was still dark, all those nights when your body aches made it difficult to sleep, all the times you felt like you didn’t want to work, when you felt exhausted, when you didn’t want to push yourself you but you did it anyway.

Many times I wondered if all this effort, persistence and patience would stand by my side at the critical moment..

Year after year, the fear of failure felt like it was denying me the right to dream..and it was unfair. No one and nothing can stop you from dreaming, because if you don’t dream, you don’t live! That’s where our inner strength comes from!

So the day has dawned where years of hard work finally pays off, we laugh in places where we have cried, we hug each other tightly and we can now say we made it!

All together!

Thank you!”
