Statements after the victory over AEK in the penalty shoot-out and the qualification to the quarter-finals of this year’s Greek Cup Betsson, made by the coach of Aris, Akis Manzios.
After stressing that everyone in their team knew from the day of the draw how difficult their task would be against an excellent AEK, he added that Aris will fight to the end for the great goal of winning the trophy.

“The Cup is an institution that interests us as an organization. AEK is an excellent team. We had a very difficult task and we knew it since the draw was announced. We will be happy today and from tomorrow we are looking at Olympiakos which is a game we also want to win”.
On whether he prefers the Cup or going to Europe: “We also want the cup and to go to Europe. We are a big team, we are obliged to look at every goal”.
