What reasons led you to decide to accept Panathinaikos’ offer?
“First of all, it is the biggest Greek club. Then it’s a great shot and for me it’s a big step forward. I’m excited and after the deal is done, I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and becoming part of the team».
Did you ask someone to gather information about your new team?
“Yes sure. I was a teammate in Spezia with Nikolaou and I spoke with him. Maybe he wasn’t so happy that I became a Panathinaikos footballer, but he spoke to me in the best words about the Greek league and my new team».
In the past, two Polish goalkeepers, Jozef Wanczyk and Arkadiusz Mallarz, had played for Panathinaikos, with the former having a great career. Is it in your mind to stay for years and succeed in the “clover”?
“I would love it, it would be amazing and I will work hard to achieve it».
It is not the first time you will compete on loan. How was the experience?
“When I first came to Empoli it was my first step into the top leagues. This is my second time on loan. The first one I did really well and I hope the second one will be even better».
What is your goal at Panathinaikos?
“My personal goal is the same as the team goal. To win the championship and the Cup. That’s my goal and I think it’s also the club’s».
Do you want to send a message to the friends of Panathinaikos?
“Unfortunately, it is not possible to be on the pitches until February. I look forward to seeing you, for your fame is world-wide».
