New escape… champion for Leverkusen. The “aspirins” beat Leipzig 3-2 with a buzzer beater by Hinkapie (90’+1′) for the 18th matchday of the Bundesliga. This was the 2nd consecutive “double” for Xabi Alonso’s team with a goal just before the end, as it was preceded by the one against Augsburg with Palacios as the star.

THE Leverkusen was found at +7 by Bayern Munich, who have two games less, while on Sunday they welcome Werder Bremen.

Leipzig entered the pitch determined to do… damage, knowing that Stuttgart had been beaten by Bochum. It opened the scoring in just the 7th minute with Simmons finding the net. Teja equalized for the visitors, slotting the ball into an empty net after Grimaldo turned in two minutes after the break.

Leipzig made it 2-1 in the 56th minute through Openda after an excellent counter-attack, but seven minutes later Ta equalized with a header. In the delays o Grimaldo took a corner and Hinkapie with projection signed a great ‘double’.
